Una tarde comencé a jugar en el FL Studio con un pack de samples de Vaporwave, culminando en el primer track: Color Waves. Al pincipio "Color Waves" se llamó "Vapor Waves", de ahi viene el nombre del álbum.
La frase "vaporwave" susurrando que se escucha a lo largo del álbum fue grabada 100% con mi voz.
En el primer track: "Color Waves", traté de darle un paneo 'estilo rock' a cada instrumento que suena, y contiene un pequeño sample de la primera canción Vaporwave que hice (que no ha sido publicada).
El segundo track: "Thinking in You" al principio no tenía nombre, pero en esos tiempos tenía una novia y estaba muy enamorado así que decidí ponerle ese nombre al track porque en ese momento todo el tiempo estaba pensando en ella (y que además encajaba con el sonido del track). En sí, el track trata de describir una atmósfera de un concierto en vivo de orquesta.
El tercer track: "Vapor Love", el nombre simplemente se lo puse porque quedaba con el tono del track, aunque actualmente estoy pensando en cambiarlo a "Hours" pues encaja más y me gusta más. Originalmente los synths y demás elementos que empiezan a sonar a partir del minuto 0:17 era otro track completamente diferente y ajeno al álbum, pero vi que el sample (con el que inicia el track) (minuto 0:00) y decidí mezclarlos.
El cuarto track: "Tropical Funky-Drug" no estaba planeado para el álbum (incluso suena diferente y ajeno al álbum) pero al ver que el título del álbum era "Vapor Waves" me di cuenta de que faltaba algo de Vaporwave. El motivo de que sea un 'bonus track' es porque no encaja del todo con el álbum y el plan era que el álbum terminara con el track "Vapor Love".
Este álbum estuvo en Virtual Soundsystem, de hecho fui contactado por el fundador (EMBA Soundsystem) para ser su primer relase después de haberlo escuchado en mi SoundCloud. Pero por caprichos perfeccionistas míos y porque le faltaban toques finales (como mastering entre otras cosas) decidí retirarlo del label.
Tenía planedo lanzarlo oficialmente en el 2017 pero empecé a abandonarlo y olvidarlo. Después iba a lanzarlo el día de mi cumpleaños (16 jul 2018) pero preferí reemplazarlo por "SUMMER BREEZE" (aunque ninguno fue lanzado ese día).
Próximamente será lanzada una versión remasterizada de este álbum, pues esta es la versión cruda de mi SoundCloud.

One afternoon I started playing in the FL Studio with a sample pack of Vaporwave, culminating in the first track: Color Waves. At the beginning "Color Waves" was called "Vapor Waves", hence the name of the album.
The phrase "vaporwave" whispering that is heard throughout the album was recorded 100% with my voice.
In the first track: "Color Waves", I tried to give a "rock style" panning to each instrument that sounds, and it contains a small sample of the first Vaporwave song I made (which has not been published).
The second track: "Thinking in You" at first had no name, but in those days I had a girlfriend and I was very much in love so I decided to name the track because at that moment I was thinking about it all the time (and it also fit with the sound of the track). In itself, the track tries to describe an atmosphere of a live orchestra concert.
The third track: "Vapor Love", the name I just put it because it was with the tone of the track, although I am currently thinking about changing it to "Hours" because it fits more and I like it more. Originally the synths and other elements that start playing from minute 0:17 was another track completely different and alien to the album, but I saw the sample (with which the track starts) (minute 0:00) and decided to mix them.
The fourth track: "Tropical Funky-Drug" was not planned for the album (it even sounds different and unrelated to the album) but when I saw that the title of the album was "Vapor Waves" I realized that something was missing from Vaporwave. The reason that it is a 'bonus track' is because it does not fit at all with the album and the plan was for the album to end with the track "Vapor Love".
This album was on Virtual Soundsystem, in fact I was contacted by the founder (EMBA Soundsystem) to be his first relase after having listened to it on my SoundCloud. But by perfectionist whims of mine and because it lacked final touches (like mastering, among other things) I decided to remove it from the label.
I had planned to officially launch it in 2017 but I started to abandon it and forget it. Then I was going to release it on my birthday (July 16, 2018) but I preferred to replace it with "SUMMER BREEZE" (although none was released that day).
Soon a remastered version of this album will be released, because this is the crude version of my SoundCloud.
